Vocational service committees encourage members to use their professional skills to support service projects and help identify and form vocational training teams.
The objectives are:
-
To encourage and foster high ethical standards in business and professions and to recognise the worthiness of all useful occupations
-
To apply the ideal of service in personal, business and community life.
As a Rotarian, how do you put these ideals into action?
We do this by:
-
Talking about or profession in the club, and we take time to learn about fellow members’ occupations.
-
Using our skills and expertise to serve on a committee
-
Helping young people achieve their career goals.
-
Guiding and encouraging others in their professional development.
