Soula Ganiatsas
Soula Ganiatsas is an accomplished executive with broad business experience across many diverse environments such as not – for profit, philanthropic, community, education, health, government, and medical research areas.
Soula’s is currently the Manager, Trusts and Foundations at The Burnet Institute. Prior to this, Soula held various senior roles including Head of Operations for the Centre for Palliative Care (CPC) at St Vincent’s Hospital, CEO of the Victorian Prostate Cancer Research Consortium (VPCRC)., Executive Officer of the Australian Prostate Cancer Research Cancer at Epworth Hospital, as well as Business Manager for the Research Division at the Peter McCallum Cancer Centre.
Soula was a past president in 2018 / 2019 and has been a member since 2009. Soula has been a Board Director since 2012 where she was appointed Secretary and Public Officer. Soula has held a number of other Board positions such as Manningham Inclusive Community Housing Joint venture (MICH).
In 2015 Soula was awarded the Menzies Community Australia Day Award and is a Paul Harris Fellow with 2 Sapphires.

Ian Goldsmith
Ian has had over 30 years' experience in the hospital, aged care, ambulance and health insurance sectors and is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Edith Bendall Lodge, a 60 Bed Aged Care Facility in Pascoe Vale and the Board Chair at Manningham Community Enterprises Ltd, Doncaster East and Templestowe Village Bendigo Community Bank Branches. Ian is also the Treasurer of Business Excellence Awards Manningham. And is a member of the Manningham Local Dementia Alliance Group.
Ian joined Rotary in June 1999 and was the president in 2011/2012. Ian has been on the Rotary Club of Manningham Board for 18 years in various roles including Treasurer (10 Years), Community Chair and Foundation Chair. Ian is a fabulous Master of Ceremonies where he has offered his time for many Rotary Club activities such as District Conferences, District Events, Changeover Dinners, Charity Dinners, Manningham Business Excellence Awards Gala Dinners and many more.
Ian has previously been a Board member of Mayfield Education (10 Years) and ABCD Art Building Children’s Dreams (Australia) Inc. (3 Years) and President of Milgate Primary School Council (9 Years), a member of the Committee of Management of Park Place Child Care centre (2 Years) and Treasurer of East Doncaster Little Athletics Club (2 Years).
Ian is a Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) and in 2001 received the Prime Ministers Award in the Year of the Volunteer, a Menzies Community Australia Day Award in 2015, a Kind Cuts for Kids Annual National Award in 2019 and is a Paul Harris Fellow with 4 Sapphires.

International & Foundation Director
David Alexander
David joined Rotary in 1993 and has served as Club President in 2005/06 and District 9810 Governor in 2010/11. His background is in water resources engineering having commenced his working career as a Civil Engineer with the State Rivers and Water Supply Commission Victoria. In 1984, he graduated with a Master of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from Purdue University, Indiana USA – majoring in water resources modelling and management, the result of a Rotary International Ambassadorial Scholarship.
David is member of The Rotary Foundation’s Cadre of Technical Advisers (Water, Sanitation and Hygiene Focus Area) -, having completed assignments in Swaziland, Fiji, Indonesia and Thailand. He is also a life member of WASRAG and a past moderator for the Rotary Water and Sanitation Discussion Group. In 2018, David led a 6 person District 9810 Vocational Training Team to D3420 Surabaya Indonesia. He is currently the International Service Chair for District 9810

Kathy Monley
Kathy joined Manningham Rotary in July 2018 having been a member of Templestowe Rotary for 18 years.! Kathy is a graduate of several Rotary programmes including Interact, Rotaract and RYLA and has hosted 12 Exchange students.! She has served on Club boards in the capacity as President, Chair of the Fundraising, Community and Youth committees, currently mentoring the Donburn Primary EarlyAct programme.! Kathy has also served in several District roles, having just completed her second year as Assistant Governor. In 2009 Kathy represented Rotary on an Interplast (medical aid) trip to Cagayan de Oro in the Philippines.!
As well as her Rotary roles Kathy served several years as a YMCA
leader, she is a past Director and former Chair of Art Building Children’s Dreams (Aust.) Inc and has undertaken a hands on project refurbishing a primary school in Fiji.
Kathy is the co-ordinator of the Manningham Rotary Op-shop, the co-ordinator of Doncare’s Food Relief programme and was awarded
Manningham’s Volunteer of the Year in 2019.

Communications Director
Dean Drummond
Dean joined Rotary in 2018 and was recently appointed to the Board as our Communications lead.
Dean has over 20 years experience in the digital banking sector and is currently the Head of Institutional Web & Mobile Banking for ANZ Banking Group. Dean brings his expertise of digital customer experience and technical skills to increase the digital presence of the club.
Most recently Dean has designed the refreshed club website and is representing the club at the district level assisting with the upcoming International Conference to be held in Melbourne in 2023

Community Services Director
Glen Vincent
Glen joined the newly formed Rotary Club of Doncaster East in 1989. Since joining he has chaired many of the board functions in Rotary Club. He served as President of the merged Rotary Club of Manningham in 2004/05. He also chaired the 2010/2011 Rotary district conference in Adelaide under District Governor David Alexander.
With a Background in Information technology, Glen undertook a career in International Banking and Global Funds Management. Initially as Development Manager for Elders Finance, then as Australian Head of Information Technology for J P Morgan before moving on to Swiss Bank UBS. This then extended into General Insurance systems with Calliden Insurance.
Initially with a concentration on fundraising for Rotary charity projects, the management of a Christmas trailer raffle resulted in significant funds being generated for the club over a number of years. He started the very successful Rotary Charity golf day in 2000 which was initially held at the Eastern Golf club and was organizer of the event for a number of years. In more recent times fundraising has concentrated on a barbecue trailer and the club Rummage shop. In July 2007 he participated in a global project to build water tanks in a small village in the Papua New Guinea highlands near Kokoda.
