A dental team from Australia conducted its third visit to the remote community of Pampachiri in the Andes, Peru to screen and treat 500 men, women and children addressing high priority cases of chronic dental disease. The portable dental chairs supplied under a District Grant supported a mobile dental clinic travelling to areas surrounding the village of Pampachiri.

The dentists are self funded and supply most of the dental supplies and equipment. They received some equipment and materials from the local health department of Andahuaylas.
The team is predominantly involved in dental work, but also delve into some issues such as women’s health and welfare as an adjunct.
